Principal Financial Group announced a new 6A occupational class for individual disability insurance and their retirement security products.
The new 6A class provides preferred pricing, on average a reduction of 12% over their previous premiums. This new occupational class is not yet approved in all states
The following occupations are eligible for Principal’s 6A occupational class;
- Actuary
- Architect
- Astronomer
- Attorney
- Auditor
- Biochemist
- Biologist
- Botanist
- Chemist
- CPA Certified Public Accountant
- Economist
- Engineer
- Executive/Office Manager/Professional (earning over $75k/year for the last 2 years)
- Geologist
- Judge
- Meteorologist
- Optometrist
- Physicist
- Sociologist
- Zoologist
